Bring out the best in your images with a huge RAW editing and digital asset management toolset.
What makes the difference between professional and amateur photographers? The way they take the photos?
Earlier versions of ACDSee Pro supported image editing only for RAW files. With the new version 3, the program supports JPG editing, too, among many other formats.
ACDSee Pro 3 allows you to import your photos from a CD/DVD, external disk, scanner, mobile phone, digital camera, using its efficient ACDSee Device Detector. Once imported, you can easily browse, organize, compare, and find all the photographs you need. Using the View mode, you can browse your images at any given size, enjoy them in slideshow mode, play video and audio files, and even add audio and captions to your own photos. To help you keep your collection organized, you can add tags, categories, and keywords.
When it comes to editing, ACDSee Pro 3 supports more than 100 different RAW and JPEG file formats, thanks to the installed plug-ins that cover almost all professional cameras. Image processing can be done in two different modes - Develop mode and Edit mode. With the former, you can easily enhance any image by setting up the right exposure, correcting its white balance, lighting and color. The sharpening and noise reduction tools will help you to fine-tune specific areas of the image. You can also straighten, cut the lens distortion, and crop the image as much as required. With the latter - the Edit mode - you are offered a wide variety of tools to remove flaws, correct red-eye effects, add text, watermarks, borders, and special effects, and to transform your pictures into stylish black and white images.
Once the image has been processed, it is ready for sharing with your contacts or anyone through ACDSeeOnline.com. On the publishing side, you can use SmugMug Uploader, Zenfolio Uploader, or FTP Uploader to put them up in the net. Finally, the Send Email Wizard will help you send your images using the e-mail system already installed in your computer.
