Known Issues
Content of iPhone and other WIA devices does not display correctly when browsed directly with ACDSee.
In some cases, on Windows 7 and 8, when a camera is connected to a computer via a USB cable, the Import tool may fail to display media files and will not copy them. In these cases we recommend copying items from these devices to your computer with Windows Explorer or import the media through a card reader.
Text/Watermark shows incorrect preview in a certain scenario.
Alien Skin plugins not working on 32-bit machines. Only support 64-bit.
It is recommended that you restart ACDSee after importing a Lightroom database.
Not Supported

v7.1 [Mar 21, 2014]
1. Repair photos, non-destructively
- Non-destructively erase flaws, blemishes and other unwanted objects with powerful Heal and Clone options. You can even copy and paste an adjustment — such as the removal of dust spots — onto multiple similar images.
2. Radial and Linear Gradient tools
- Non-destructively apply a radial or linear gradient as you correct exposure, saturation, fill light, contrast, and clarity, to gradually progress outward from a center point or subtly across your photo. Copy and paste settings from one photo to another or apply in batches, and blend multiple gradients for even more compelling results.
3. Sharpen/Blur brush
- Use a brush to non-destructively blur or sharpen a specific area of your images. Choose your brush size and the amount of feathering, and add a linear or radial gradient to help you achieve exactly the look you want.
4. Detail Brush
- Similar to dodge and burn, fine-tune your images by accenting specific details with the stroke of a brush. Emphasize areas by brushing multiple times for a stronger effect.
5. Home base for your databases
- Create as many ACDSee databases as you like, and quickly and easily switch between them.
6. Copy and paste metadata
- Save time by copying and pasting metadata on the fly, from one image to another. Easily select among IPTC, GPS and ACDSee metadata.
7. Info Palette
- Access key shooting information while working with your photos. The Info Palette conveniently displays a host of data alongside your image, including white balance, metering mode, exposure program, and whether the flash fired. Plus see the ISO, f-stop, shutter speed, exposure compensation, focal length, and more, all in one spot.
8. Direct to Facebook
- Quickly send photos from ACDSee to your Facebook account. Create a new album or add to an existing one, specify location, write description details, and choose your privacy level.
9. Tilt-Shift
- Apply the Tilt-Shift effect to transform your photo into a miniature-scale model. Rotate the lens plane and adjust the bokeh frequency, brightness, and sides to get the perfect scene.
